Public Art, Erin Vivion, Chair Greta Hackett Outdoor Sculpture Gallery Sign – There are two signs being discussed. One would be similar to all of the Mercer Island Park signs, blue with just the name of the park on it. A second sign would contain more information about the gallery, who Greta Hackett was, and why a park is being named after her.
The Arts Council agreed they would like to start out with the more informative sign first. Kai is waiting to hear from the Parks Manager how long it will take to get the sign made.
In terms of next steps, Erin will work on the text, and Kai will check with the Parks Manager to see if the city has a sign template.
