UPDATE ON FEB 6 SNOW EVENT (7:30pm)

Some good news!...
East Mercer Way (EMW) is now OPEN from N. Mercer Way to SE 5200 block.
At 6030 86th Ave SE, trees have been cleared and the road is OPEN.
80th Ave SE and SE 60th Street have both been cleared and are OPEN.
EMW will remain CLOSED between 5300-5400 blocks for cable repair by Cable Com until sometime tomorrow, but ambulances can get through if needed.
West Mercer Way (WMW) is blocked south of SE 72nd Street and both lanes are CLOSED – no estimate yet on clearance.
City crews are still out there, continuing snow and ice removal work through the evening.
Showers should end tonight, although there may be limited patches of ice in the morning.
Tuesday is expected to have just minor showers, possible flurries, with sunbreaks.
