Welcome to the Year-Round VOICE Program
Year Round Volunteering is now more accessible! For volunteer opportunties during the school year, simply register at www.shiftboard.com/voice to see the most up-to-date calendar!
The goal of the year-round program is to give you a chance to stay involved with volunteering throughout the school year. Why save all of the fun for the summer?!
The year-round program works a little differently than the summer program. All the projects are listed on the calendar, and you may sign up for as many as you would like. Volunteers are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis with no priority given to past participants. There is no guarantee for projects, no formal sign-up sheet, no hours requirement. Simply call the office (206) 275-7755, or email tambi.cork@mercergov.org. Transportation is provided to off-Island events.
If you have not filled out SVP or VOICE forms from the summer, please complete the forms that you can download from this website: Liability Waiver, Authorization to Consent to Treatment of a Minor (if applicable), Oath of Confidentiality, and Background Check Authorization.
All of these forms will need to be received before your first project. Please be aware that a few projects require their own liability forms: Treehouse, Earthcorps, and Lifelong AIDS Alliance. These forms can be found on this website as well. Most projects are 8-12th grade: however, there are a few available for 7th graders, and a few have minimum age requirements.
