2018 Annual Event Sponsorship Opportunities
Events bring community together!

The Mercer Island Parks & Recreation Department presents a number of special & community events each year. The Mercer Island business community has always been a generous supporter for our events. We are now offering business sponsorship opportunities that will broaden your exposure as a supporter. Click here to see what annual sponsorship opportunities are available to you. Click here to complete a sponsorship form.

For more information or questions about donations or sponsorship please contact Diane Mortenson, Recreation Superintendent, 206.275.7861.

The Parks and Recreation Department appreciates the communities’ generous support. Ongoing donations are accepted toward our recreation special and community events.

We also welcome the donation of park equipment such as benches, drinking fountains, playground pieces, and trees & trail maintenance.

Do you work for a company that will match your donation?  If so, search for Mercer Island Parks and Recreation on the Benevity website  https://causes.benevity.org/ to give to your employer.

The Grove at the Source
Thank you to our Mercer Island residents for the generous tree donations to the ‘Grove at the Source’ in Luther Burbank Park. The grove features three species of trees, planted in rows radiating from the spiral mounds of The Source, a landscape sculpture created by John Hoge. The ‘Grove at the Source’ is located at the south end of Luther Burbank Park, west of the swim beach. Watch as these beautiful trees grow over time! If you are interested in donating a tree in honor of someone special in your life, we have one more available. Contact diane.mortenson@mercergov.org or 206.275.7861.
