The Pioneer Park Forest Management was adopted by the Open Space Conservancy Trust in 2003. It has been the guiding document on all volunteer and contracted work in the forest of Pioneer Park since then. In 2008, the Trust conducted a Forest Health Survey of Pioneer Park to quantify tree populations and prevalence of non-native invasive plants. The results of this study caused the Trust to amend the Forest Management Plan and append it with the Forest Health Survey and the associated work plan.
