Adventure Playground Open June 27 - September 27, 2017
Adventure Playground is a one of a kind play area that allows kids to create their own play adventure. Nestled in the wooded forest of Deane's Children’s Park, children are provided toolboxes, various building supplies, safety items and the freedom to create build-it-yourself play zones with the guidance of Staff.

If you are coming to Mercer Island to visit the playground and want to call first to be sure it has not been closed due to inclement weather or any other reason, please call the Community Center at 206.275.7609.

Location: Deane’s Childrens Park (5500 Island Crest Way)
Ages: Children under 12 must be with a parent. Children must be 12 years of age to be left unsupervised. Parents are encouraged to stay and play with their children.
Days/Dates/Times: Tue, Thr, Sun*, Jun 27 - Sep 27*, 1 pm - 4 pm
*Playground is only open Sundays in September
Closed July 2, 4 & 9 and September 3.
Required: Closed toed, hard soled shoes are required. No one will be allowed into Adventure playground wearing open toed shoes such as sandals or crocs.
We provide a tool box and supplies, but encourage participants to bring tools.
Building supply donations such as lumber, nails, tools, and rope are always welcome during our program months of operation. Please email C.J. Stanford at email@example.com to coordinate your donation or drop off supplies during the hours the playground is open.
