An Earth Day celebration for kids of all ages!

This year’s focus will be on food, a critical issue for all sustainable communities. Food is a basic need; its production can replenish and contribute to the stewardship of our land or devastate it. Join us for fun activities, food, entertainment, and animals!

• Kids in the Kitchen with Chef Tom
• Cooping 101: 10:30am - 12:30pm in the Calkins Room
• Salmon Boy with Peter Donaldson - 11:00 am & 1:00 pm in the Mercer Room
• School Gardens with Rick Swan - 12:45 - 1:45 pm in the Calkins Room
• Bees, Bunnies, Goats and Chickens
• Plant your own Shoebox Garden
• Fresh and Local Food Vendors
• Other activities Indoors and Out!
• BYOB - Bring your own (water) bottle
• Participants are encouraged to bring a non-perishable food item to donate to the Mercer Island Food Pantry.
