Mostly Music in the Park

The Mercer Island Arts Council's summer concert series brings an eclectic mix of musical talents to Mercerdale Park each year. Round up your friends and family, pack a picnic, and meet us in the park for everything from jazz to Spanish guitar, bluegrass to funk, contemporary rock to Americana, and so much more!

Choose the Music - Join the 2019 Band Selection Committee!

We seek 2-3 community members to join the Arts Council's 2019 band selection committee. Participants must commit to listening to 80-100+ submissions and meeting with other committee members for approximately 4 hours in early February. Sound interesting? Reach out to Sarah Bluvas at sarah.bluvas@mercergov.org by January 21 to learn more and tell us why you want to participate.

The Mercer Island Arts Council and Mercer Island Parks & Recreation seek submissions for acts for Mostly Music in the Park, the popular concert series that has been bringing community members together for more than 30 years. Recent series highlights include concerts by The Rumba Kings, the Joy Mills Band, and Lemolo.

Bring your music stylings to Mercerdale Park, a city park located in the heart of Town Center, this summer. Performances take place on Thursday evenings in July and August and are completely free to the public. Download the full details here, and apply by e-mailing mostly.music@mercergov.org by February 4, 2019.
