Mostly Music in the Park
Co-chairs: Matt Lome and Jessica Prince
This committee facilitates the Mostly Music in the Park (MMIP) series, a long-standing tradition on Mercer Island.
Chair: Damian Schwiethale
This committee collaborates with Parks & Recreation staff to coordinate a variety of efforts related to public relations and community outreach.
Chair: Erin Vivion
This committee promotes and educates the public about the City's Public Art Collection.
Chair: Amy Barnes
This committee works with Parks & Recreation staff to program the Mercer Island Gallery (indoor space at the Mercer Island Community & Event Center) and the Greta Hackett Outdoor Sculpture Gallery.
Chair: Erik Gordon
This committee fosters appreciation for literary arts by collabroating with Parks & Recreation staff to produce/sponsor literary artists, groups, and events such as Shakespeare in the Park and Classics on Film.
Chair, Gaylene Vaden
This committee assists in coordinating special programs and projects as they arise. In 2019, this committee primarily focuses on stewarding the City's exploration of the Certified Creative Districts program.
