Greetings fellow Earthlings! The countdown has begun and we’re ready for lift off to bring you a truly space-tacular 27th Annual Summer Celebration Festival. Below you will find general festival information that we hope you find helpful!

Important Street Closures in Town Center
Set-up & weekend festival:
Friday, July 7, 5:30 am through Sunday, July 9 9:00 pm. SE 32nd St. from 78th SE to 77th Ave SE and 77th Ave SE from SE 29th Street to SE 32nd St. (vendor booth set-up)
Parade:
Saturday, July 8, 9:15 am to 11:00 am 78th Ave SE (from SE 27th St. to SE 32nd St.) 78th Ave SE, Sunset & 78th, and Sunset and 77th Intersections of SE 27th, SE 28th, SE 29th, SE 30th and SE 32nd along 78th Ave SE (parade starts at 10am)

Festival Information Booth:
Festival Information including maps, schedules of events, crafter’s directory, and more can be found at the corner of 77th Ave. SE and SE 32nd St (near old Recycle Center).

Hotline/Live Festival Help:
The Summer Celebration! Hotline, 206-275-7857 is available as a message line until Friday, July 13th. On this date the number will be switched to Festival Headquarters to be used as live help during festival hours Saturday (10am to 7pm) and Sunday (10am to 5pm).

Fireworks Shuttle:
Kitchen Plus is sponsoring a Fireworks Shuttle that will be offering shuttle rides in a continuous loop from Mercer Island City Hall to Luther Burbank Park from 6:30pm to 9:45pm. At the end of the festival, several busses will be lined up to return riders to City Hall and will loop back until all riders have been transported. AVOID the parking and after festival congestion by taking advantage of the hassle free shuttle rides sponsored by Kitchen Plus. Fireworks Parking:
The South Luther Burbank Parking lot, Mercer Island Community & Event Center parking lot, and limited off-street parking is available for parking during the Fireworks festivities at Luther Burbank Park. NOTE: Expect long delays exiting the parking lots. These lots will be limited to one exit lane for hundreds of cars and must be alternated with walkers leaving the festival controlled by the Mercer Island Police Department. THERE WILL BE DELAYS. For a hassle free experience, consider using the Fireworks Shuttle.

Festival Parking: Festival Parking: Festival parking is limited to off-street parking around Mercerdale Park and in the downtown streets of Mercer Island. Some lots allow festival parking while most of the shopping complex lots strictly forbid it (expect to be ticketed and fined by the businesses if you fail to adhere to the posted signs).

First Aid/Lost Child:
King County Search & Rescue will be at the stairway entrance to Mercerdale Park to provide lost child and first aid services to festival attendees. King County Search & Rescue provide these services as volunteers so please stop by and thank them for their long time continued support!

Wristbands for Children’s Inflatables:
Wristbands and individual ride tickets are for sale during festival hours at the Clowns Unlimited/National Events Pro ticket booth which is located in the center of Mercerdale Park near the inflatable attractions. They have a white booth with large flags in the middle of the attractions. Lines here can get really long on Saturday morning. Avoid the hassle and buy your wristbands in advance at the Mercer Island Community & Events Center. Wristbands go on sale June 29th during Center hours (closed for 4th of July) and will be on sale through Friday, July 7th. Avoid the ticket line and start having fun right away by purchasing your wristbands in advance! Call 206. 275-7609 with questions on purchasing your ticket in advance.

Lost & Found:
Lost & found items turned in will be kept at the festival information booth located in Mercerdale Park at the corner of 77th Ave. SE and 32nd St (near old Recycle Center). Stop by here to claim your missing item.

Souvenirs:
Collector Souvenir pins and posters are on sale at the Information Booth near the old Recycle Center.
