What to do During a Water Shortage

Best ways you can help the City conserve water during emergencies....

  • Don't do laundry
  • Don't run the dishwasher
  • Don't wash the car or pressure wash your patio/driveway
  • Don't irrigate lawns/gardens
  • Don't refill pools, hot tubs, fountains
  • Try to keep showers short
  • Try to limit toilet flushing to solid waste only
  • Consider using compostable/disposable tableware to avoid clean up
  • Consider staying a night with friends off-Island if you have high water needs

Thank you for your help, it makes a real difference!
