Commercial / Multifamily Re-Roof Permits
Re-Roof permits are required for roofing work on commercial or multifamily structures.
Prepare
Select a contractor and confirm that they have a Mercer Island Business License. Prepare your plans, permit applications and supplemental information if applicable.
Required Forms
Required Documents
- Plans - submit plans in PDF format, the minimum plan sheet size is 11"x17" using a scale that is legible and easily reviewed. Combine all plan sheets into one PDF.
- Spec Sheets - provide manufacturer specifications for the proposed roof covering assembly, which verify the Wind resistance classification and the Fire resistance classification.
- Structural Engineering Calculations - as applicable
